All 3 Parties Fiddle While Canada Burns
Once upon a time there was a idea to form an independent nation called Canada. It would be a place for freedom and democracy, where people would elect representatives and things would get done. If they didn’t the government would change and then things would get done. Now, it seems that all 3 parties want to sit around point fingers and throw mud. I have only one vote, and yes it is a Rural Riding. I vote every time, hoping it will make a difference. I can say I vote for which ever party is making the most sense to me when I make my decision.
I wish all 3 parties would come up with plans for the next 5 years, based on today’s economy. With that plan, there would thoughts on what could be changed if things get worse, and what could be changed if things got better. You folks in Ottawa: Every farmer in the country understands that when you plant a crop you are guessing and hoping at the amount you will harvest. That is the way with budgets.
Saying Canadians don’t understand short falls and changes is a pretty broad statement I don’t like. People with commonsense realize that things change. I don’t want to hear why, I want to hear what can be done about it, and the parties that are tying up time arguing with out solutions do not deserve to represent the people in the ridings or the people of Canada. If you don’t want to find a solution give someone else who can your spot. It is time to stop arguing and start working together. I hope voters are paying attention to those that are trying to help and those that are just there to disrupt.
