How To Register a New Account

As a visitor to BuyFromTheFarm.ca, you will see a Login/Register block in the left sidebar.

When you click on the link, the User Account page will appear with the Log in tab selected.

Select the Create new account tab, and enter your user name, email address and password.

Please double check the spelling of your email address! If you make a mistake, we will have to intervene on this end to correct it. You will be asked to enter your password twice to ensure that it is the same both times.

The final step is CAPTCHA. You will see five coloured characters in a box which you are asked to copy. This question is case-sensitive, so be sure to copy them carefully. We perform this test to prevent automated programs from creating an account to propagate spam.

When you are finished, click on the Create new account button, and you will be given immediate access to the site, with limited privileges. We also send you an email to the address you have just entered, which contains a special link back to the site. When you receive this email, simply click on the link in the email, or copy it and paste it into the address bar of your browser, and you will have confirmed that you did indeed receive the email and that it is valid. Your account will then have full privileges activated.
